‘Discovery Week’ is a week long hackathon style event involving staff from all disciplines on a part-time basis. I was taken on for a week to add design and prototyping resource to one of the teams. Our challenge was to conceive a way that items for rolling news stories could be gathered in one place rather than scattered over time. We chose the London Riots as a subject typical of this type of story.
